Russia has launched a strike with the Ordnance on Lviv region for the first time: Zelensky called it a challenge to Europe

According to ТСН: The Russian terrorist army carried out a demonstrative strike with an 'Ordnance' missile on the territory of the Lviv region, which is located near the border with the European Union.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky noted in his evening address that this strike is an 'equal challenge for Warsaw, Bucharest, Budapest, and many other capitals'.

'Everyone should understand the same and equally seriously: if the Russians are not even trying to come up with a plausible reason for using such weapons, then personal connections or any rhetoric won't cover this up,' said Zelensky.

He also emphasized the importance of creating a joint defense system. According to the president, the issue of having such a system in Europe remains open, as doubts arise whether the capitals of Europe will be protected if something 'strikes Putin in the head.'

Recall that on January 9th, around midnight, Russia struck the Lviv region for the first time during the war with 'Ordnance' missiles. The military reported that this missile was moving on a ballistic trajectory at a speed of approximately 13 thousand km/h, which is considered 'extremely high speed.'

The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that this strike was carried out in response to an alleged attack on the residence of President Vladimir Putin.

This incident underscores the growing threat from Russia not only to Ukraine but also to neighboring European states. The reactions of the international community and efforts to strengthen security systems in the region are becoming increasingly relevant, as instability and aggression can have serious consequences for all of Europe.
