Analysis of the Situation in Ukraine
According to The Sun: In the context of the ongoing war in Ukraine, The Sun publication once again addresses the issue of the conflict, pointing to the vulnerabilities of the Russian regime and the weaknesses of the West.
Former NATO intelligence officer and strategist Philip Ingram reflects on potential escalations that could trigger World War III at the very heart of Europe, in a new episode of the program 'Battle Plans Exposed'.
AFPVulnerabilities of Russia and NATO
The new episode addresses the issue of the 'Suwalki Corridor', which has a reputation as NATO's Achilles' heel. Ingram examines the vulnerable enclave of Kaliningrad, which has no common border with the rest of Russia.
The expert analyzes key Baltic states located above the Suwalki Corridor as the first line of defense between Russia and the rest of Europe, focusing on Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.
It also examines in detail what a Russian attack on these countries could look like, and what support NATO may provide to these three states.

Hybrid Warfare and the Situation in Georgia
Ingram also examines Russia's complex military tactics, discussing their role in hybrid warfare. He analyzes Russian aggression against Georgia in 2008, which often remains overlooked in the context of Putin's actions.
This war began nearly two decades ago when Moscow, with the support of separatists, seized the regions of South Ossetia and Abkhazia.
The episode concludes with a review of Ukraine's defensive lines and the latest news from the battlefield.

This episode comes against the backdrop of Putin's meeting with world leaders at the 'Axis of Evil' summit, where he speaks with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un and Chinese leader Xi Jinping. This is the first time all three have met together since they took office.
Putin also met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Xi on Monday. The event in Beijing will celebrate the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II.

Expected participants of the summit include Iran and Belarus. These meetings take place against the backdrop of former President Trump's attempt to end the war in Ukraine, inviting Putin to Alaska and European leaders to Washington.
Since the meetings took place, Putin continues to strike Ukraine using deadly rocket bombardments, ignoring his American counterpart.
Last week, NATO aircraft took to the skies at night as Putin attacked Ukraine with 500 drones and missiles. Among the victims were children, as the attacks terrorized civilian infrastructure and energy targets across the country.
These attacks claimed the lives of at least 23 people in the capital, Kyiv, including four children. This was the second largest airstrike by Russia during the war.

In the current war conditions in Ukraine, strategic and political considerations gain great importance. Vulnerable spots such as the Suwalki Corridor and Kaliningrad become potential elements for escalating the conflict. At the same time, international community support and NATO actions remain decisive for the further development of events.
The efforts of world leaders aimed at countering aggression can significantly impact the unfolding situation in the region. It is important to keep an eye on the developments, as they may determine the future not only of Ukraine but also of all of Europe.
