Explosions at the oil refinery in Ryazan
Explosions occurred in the city of Ryazan, during which the local oil refinery was attacked. Media reports this with reference to the governor of the Ryazan region, Pavel Malkov.
According to the governor's information, the drones were destroyed by air defense and electronic warfare means. Fortunately, there are no casualties, but there is material damage.
According to local residents, 10 loud explosions occurred in the vicinity of the oil refinery. The drones were shot down by air defense means.
In addition, explosions and a fire occurred at the Novo-Ryazan CHPP site, which is located near the oil refinery.
According to the head of the Counteracting Disinformation Center of the National Security and Defense Council, the oil refinery plays an important role in Russia's fuel complex, producing fuel for military equipment and other types of petroleum products.
This is not the first attack on defense industry enterprises and oil depots in Russia. The last attack on the oil refinery in Ryazan was recorded late at night on January 20.
