Renault 4 E-Tech now also for business: two new versions presented in France.
According to Korrespondent.net: The electric Renault 4 E-Tech has been supplemented with two new versions for the French market - Societe Reversible and Societe Van. They are designed for professionals who need a practical light commercial vehicle without losing the comfort of the standard passenger model.
Externally, the new modifications do not differ from the basic version, as they retain glass rear windows instead of solid ones. This has allowed for cost reductions, although earlier Renault hinted at the possibility of creating a variant with a more 'cargo' design in the style of the classic Renault 4 Fourgonnette.

Interior description and functionality
The interior space has changed: the rear seats have been replaced with a special tray with anti-slip coating, and load fastening points and a partition have also been added. The trunk volume is 1045 liters, and there is also a 55-liter compartment under the floor. The length of the cargo area reaches 1.20 m, and the maximum payload capacity is up to 345 kg.
Technical specifications
The conversion of the models takes place at the Ampere Manufacture plant in MoBié by Qstomize. The Societe Reversible version is classified as a passenger car (M1), while the Societe Van is classified as commercial transport (N1). This provides certain tax advantages, although it also imposes speed restrictions.
The technical specifications of both models remain unchanged compared to the base R4 E-Tech version: a single electric motor with an output of 148 hp and a 52 kWh battery provide a range of up to 409 km according to WLTP. The charging time from 15 to 80% is a little over three hours at an 11 kW AC station or about 30 minutes at a 100 kW fast charger.
Prices and options
In France, prices for the R4 E-Tech Societe start at €29300 for the Evolution version and from €30900 for the Techno. Options include various body colors, roof rails, all-season tires, power tailgate, as well as additional safety systems and a Harman Kardon audio system.
It is worth noting that the debut of the sixth generation Renault Clio was previously announced.
