In this regard, the Ministry of Energy calls on the IAEA to expedite the deployment of monitoring missions to key substations of nuclear power plants.
According to Ukrainian intelligence, the Kremlin is preparing to strike critical nuclear energy facilities in Ukraine before the start of winter.
Earlier, experts from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) repeatedly recorded drone flights at a short distance from the South Ukraine Nuclear Power Plant.
At the IAEA conference, a resolution was adopted demanding the immediate withdrawal of Russia from the territory of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant and its deoccupation. The resolution was supported by 65 member countries of the agency.
A new emergency plan for the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, which is to take effect by the end of September, was also discussed.
The IAEA recommends not restarting the reactors of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant while the war continues, as the situation at the plant remains unstable.
