Russia is deliberately destroying the railway in Kovel: drones are controlled from Belarus.
According to ТСН: The Russian armed forces have begun a targeted campaign to destroy the logistics branch "Kyiv–Kovel." Trains, depots, and bridges are under threat, and drone management is likely being carried out from the territory of Belarus.
This was reported by a leading expert in radio-electronic systems and communication.
Systematic strikes on logistics
According to the expert, a series of targeted attacks by Shahed-type drones on railway facilities have been recorded in recent days. In particular:
two days ago – an attack on a train and a subsequent strike on the repair team;
the day before yesterday – a railway bridge came under fire;
last night – an attack on the locomotive depot.
The expert emphasizes that these strikes are deliberate: the enemy aims to paralyze an important railway artery that connects Ukraine with Poland.
The 'Belarusian trace' in drone management
Although drones are launched from the territory of Russia, the expert insists on the possibility of controlling them directly from the Republic of Belarus.
"I continue to insist that they [UAVs] are controlled from the territory of Belarus," says the specialist, adding that this allows the enemy to adjust flights in real time for precise targeting of moving targets.
Necessary steps for protection
To avoid serious consequences, the expert proposes to urgently take three measures:
Strengthening air defense and electronic warfare. Implement protection for the railway branch using radio-electronic warfare and anti-aircraft drones.
Evidence base for the National Security and Defense Council. Use radio-electronic intelligence (REI) to officially confirm the functioning of control points from Belarus, to raise this issue to the level of the National Security and Defense Council.
Risk warnings. Until reliable protection is established, passengers, cargo, and equipment on this section will remain in an increased risk zone.
The expert warns that attacks in this direction will continue, as stopping logistics with Poland is a strategic goal of the enemy.
Earlier, it was reported that the "Shahed," which attacked a train in Zhytomyr region, could have been controlled from Belarus.
The news discusses the targeted campaign of Russian troops aimed at destroying railway logistics between Kyiv and Kovel. The expert notes that the recent drone attacks threaten important transport hubs and also points to the possible involvement of Belarus in managing these drones. The article includes proposals for protecting the railway branch, including strengthening air defense and using electronic means. These events underscore the importance of the railway for servicing logistics routes in the context of the conflict.Read also
