According to The Sun: Recently, a mysterious situation has arisen around the participant of the Miss Universe beauty contest. 27-year-old Nadeen Ayoub claims to have acquired the title of Miss Palestine, although there is no information about the holding of such a competition.

Despite the lack of information about her background, Ayoub plans to represent Palestine at the prestigious event in November.

She stated that she participated in the competition, despite confirmation that such a competition did not take place.

Nadeen Ayoub is the founder and director of the Miss Palestine organization, which allegedly is responsible for her title.

However, as reported by the New York Post, there are no records of the Miss Palestine competition being held, nor of registered participants.

Ayoub noted that she was born in the USA, raised in Canada, and now lives in Dubai.

Not long ago, she announced that she would represent Palestine at the Miss Universe contest in Thailand on November 21.

On social media, Ayoub shared:

“I am proud to walk this path, not only as Miss Palestine but also as a voice for those who deserve to be seen and heard.”

As proof of her words, she posted a photo in a cape that read 'Miss Universe Palestine' for her 1.1 million followers on Instagram.

She claims that she first received the title of Miss Palestine in 2022, but postponed her participation in Miss Universe due to the brutal terrorist attack on October 7 by Hamas.

In a September interview with The National, a UAE newspaper, Ayoub said:

“We held a beauty contest for Miss Palestine, and I received the title,”

although no further Miss Palestine elections have taken place since 2022 due to “genocide” in Gaza.

The mention of 'genocide' has caused outrage in some Israeli media.

Ayoub also expressed her position, stating that “I would accept a lawyer advocating against extremism and for the right of all people to live.”

The Miss Palestine organization registered its website in May of this year and has already started recruiting participants for the Miss Palestine 2026 competition.

Ayoub shared that she studied English literature and psychology at the University of Western Ontario and has worked in schools and charities.

“all applications are carefully reviewed”

and evaluated by the organization’s committee.

In 2022, Ayoub was one of four winners of the Miss Earth contest in the Philippines, where she received the title of Miss Earth Water.
