The Electric Vehicle Market in Ukraine: Ranking of the Most Popular Brands.
The electric vehicle segment in the Ukrainian auto market is growing very quickly, which is clear even without deep analysis. Experts from the Institute of Car Market Research have prepared a ranking of the most popular electric vehicle brands in Ukraine, using data on the first registration of such vehicles in the country.
Currently, there are over 150 thousand electric vehicles in Ukraine, of which 83% are used vehicles often imported from the USA, Europe, and China. Only 17% of electric vehicles are being registered for the first time in Ukraine.
For a long time, Nissan with the Leaf model led this list, but for the last two years, Tesla has been successfully holding the top position. The top 3 also includes Volkswagen, Hyundai, and KIA. However, there is no Ford, BMW, or Mercedes-Benz on the list, as Chinese ZEEKR from the Geely group has replaced them.
The development of the electric vehicle market in Ukraine indicates a growing interest among consumers in environmentally friendly and energy-efficient transport. The availability of a variety of models from different manufacturers contributes to better air quality and reduces dependence on oil resources.
The Ukrainian electric vehicle market is practically expanding, with a diversity of models from different manufacturers supporting ecological and energy-efficient solutions in transport.
