The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine calls on the international community to strengthen sanctions against Russia due to the inclusion of the Russian Federation's marine ports of Berdyansk and Mariupol in its list. The Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs described Russia's actions as 'nul and void' and a violation of international law, a violation of the UN Charter and the Convention on the Law of the Sea. In response, Ukraine urges new sanctions and has appealed to the IMO to take measures to ensure compliance with international resolutions.The events have prompted Ukraine to further strengthen its pressure on Russia for violations of international law.
