Russian Strikes Hit Dnipro and Kharkiv, Injuring Children and Civilians.
Strikes Target Dnipro and Kharkiv
According to UATV: Russian forces attacked the Ukrainian cities of Dnipro and Kharkiv overnight on March 10, causing significant damage and civilian casualties. These attacks are part of a wider pattern of strikes on urban centers far from the front lines. In Dnipro, a drone struck a multi-story residential building, wounding ten people, including a 12-year-old boy named Oleksandr Hanzha. This incident underscores the grave dangers faced by civilians in this conflict.
In a separate attack on Kharkiv, four more individuals were wounded, one of whom was a child. These events highlight an alarming escalation of violence against populated areas, raising serious concerns for civilian safety.
Military Activity in Zaporizhzhia Oblast
Separately, intense military activity was reported in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, where 651 strikes hit 36 settlements. Occupation forces carried out 23 airstrikes, deployed 359 drones of various modifications, and launched four rocket artillery barrages against communities. The scale of these operations indicates sustained and heavy fighting in the region, severely impacting the lives of residents.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported that the consequences of the attacks require an urgent response and support for the victims.
These latest developments point to the ongoing armed conflict in Ukraine and its dangerous consequences for non-combatants. The increasing intensity of attacks, particularly on residential areas, raises profound concerns about population safety and the worsening humanitarian situation. Providing support to victims and responding to the aftermath of strikes has become critically important as the violence escalates.
