Russia attacked Kyiv with ballistic missiles and drones: there are dead and injured – what is known.
Attack on Kyiv
On the night of May 7, Russian occupiers attacked Kyiv and its suburbs with ballistic weapons and drones. As a result of the enemy strike, there are casualties and injuries.
This was reported by the mayor of the capital, Vitali Klitschko, citing data from the Kyiv City Military Administration and other emergency services. Russia began the attack late at night, as a result of which eight people were reported injured in Kyiv, including two deceased residents of the city.
'As a result of the enemy attack, two residents of the capital were killed,' noted Mayor Klitschko.
Incidents in specific areas
During the attack, one woman and her son were killed. The downed Russian rocket and drones caused damage in the Solomyanskyi, Dniprovskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, and other districts of the city.
Timur Tkachenko reported that there are two deceased and more than ten injured, among whom are mainly children. The elimination of the consequences of the attacks is ongoing at all locations.
'Currently, all services are on site helping people. As of this moment, seven injured are known, including four children. Unfortunately, there are fatalities - a woman and her son. My condolences to the relatives and loved ones,' said President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
