Attack by Russian Forces on Ukraine
On the night of August 31, Russian forces attacked the territory of Ukraine using 142 Shahed-type strike drones and various drone imitators. This was reported by FREEДОМ, citing data from the Ukrainian Air Force.
Directions of Drone Launches
The drones were launched from several directions: Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), and Cape Chauda, located in temporarily occupied Crimea.
Results of the Shelling
According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, our air defense forces destroyed or suppressed 126 enemy Shahed drones and imitators in the north, south, and east of Ukraine.
There were also records of 16 strike drones hitting 10 different locations; debris fell in six of these places.
Methods of Ukraine's Defense
Defending against the aerial attack was aided by anti-aircraft missile troops, radio-electronic warfare (REW) units, mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, and unmanned systems.
Previous Attacks
It should be noted that on the night of August 30, over twenty missiles and about 40 strike drones attacked Dnipro and the Dnipropetrovsk region.
