Major Assault Targets Ukrainian Cities
According to UATV: On February 15, Russian forces launched a major assault against the regions of Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, and Dnipropetrovsk. The attacks resulted in one man killed and seven people wounded. The bombardment of Zaporizhzhia and its surrounding area caused significant destruction, with at least four residential buildings damaged.
According to reports, 658 strikes hit 33 settlements across the Zaporizhzhia region. Zaporizhzhia Mayor Ivan Fedorov confirmed that the city's territory was struck. Oleg Kiper, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, stated that
"air raid sirens sounded in the city for almost the entire night."These strikes are part of a broader pattern of intensified attacks on civilian areas in southern and eastern Ukraine.
Attacks in Odesa and Dnipropetrovsk Regions
In Odesa, Russian troops targeted infrastructure, though no casualties were immediately reported. In the Dnipropetrovsk region, several attacks wounded four people, including a 13-year-old girl. Russian forces attacked settlements in the area more than ten times, using artillery, drones, and guided aerial bombs. In the village of Kamyshevakha, a five-year-old boy was wounded in the shelling.
These events mark a further escalation of the conflict in the region, raising concerns among local residents and international observers. The shelling continues, and the situation remains tense.
The attacks on Ukrainian cities, including Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, and Dnipropetrovsk, occur against a backdrop of intensified military activity, indicating a continuation of aggressive tactics by Russian forces.
