The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs negatively perceived the US decision to provide Ukraine with a 20 billion dollar loan through the freezing of Russian assets. According to the Russian MFA, this move will cause serious damage to the global financial system, which is based on the dollar. At the same time, Russia promises to also seize Western assets that are under its jurisdiction.
Later, Japan agreed with G7 countries to provide Ukraine with a loan of 3 billion dollars. In addition, the G7 countries also committed to allocate another 50 billion dollars in loans to Ukraine.
