Russian Attack on Dnipropetrovsk Region Kills One, Damages Hospital and Homes.
Strikes Target Dnipropetrovsk Region
According to UATV: On March 11, Russian military forces launched an attack on the Dnipropetrovsk region, resulting in the death of one man and leaving another wounded. The assault, which utilized drones and artillery, targeted three districts: Nikopol, Synelnykove, and Kryvyi Rih.
The strikes caused damage to several apartment buildings, private homes, businesses, a hospital, as well as infrastructure and agricultural machinery. These attacks are part of a wider pattern of strikes across southern Ukraine. Separately, in Kherson, 20 people were injured in an attack on a passenger bus, while in Zaporizhzhia, nine individuals, including a child, were wounded by strikes from guided aerial bombs.
Oleksandr Ganja, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, confirmed this information, highlighting the severity of the situation.
The ongoing shelling continues to pose a direct threat to the civilian population in the region.
The Wider Conflict in Ukraine
These events underscore the continuation of military actions in Ukraine, which are inflicting significant damage to civilian infrastructure and endangering lives. The situation in the Dnipropetrovsk region, along with other areas like Kherson and Zaporizhzhia, points to an ongoing escalation of the conflict and its devastating impact on non-combatants. The Dnipropetrovsk region, a major industrial and population center, has faced repeated attacks since the full-scale invasion began.
While authorities continue to respond to these threats, the persistent shelling remains a critical challenge to regional security.
