Middle East Conflict: How Putin Is Backing Iran

According to TSN.ua: Russia is supplying drones to Iran for use against the United States and its allies in the Middle East. According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, this arrangement helps fund Russia’s own military campaign against Ukraine. It has been confirmed that Iran is receiving Russian-made versions of the Shahed drone, along with intelligence data, including satellite imagery.

These actions not only bolster Iran’s military capabilities but also generate significant revenue for Russia. Moscow earns approximately $150 million per day from oil sales—money that Zelensky says is “immediately funneled into Russia’s war effort.”

Conflict Intensifies

Against this backdrop, six U.S. service members were recently killed in a drone attack in Kuwait. This incident underscores the escalating tensions in the Middle East and highlights Russia’s role in supporting Iran’s military operations.

The deepening ties between Moscow and Tehran are becoming increasingly clear, raising alarm among the international community, particularly U.S. allies.

This situation reflects a growing military and economic partnership between Russia and Iran, one that could have serious consequences for regional stability. The intensification of hostilities in the Middle East, combined with Russian support for Iranian efforts, risks further escalation of conflicts that already carry global repercussions and threaten the security of America’s allies in the region.
