Russian military will study Russophobia: what will change in training from 2026.
According to inkorr.com: According to the training plans for 2026, published in the journal 'Army Newspaper', significant changes are planned in the military-political training system of the Russian Armed Forces. In particular, servicemen will study 'Russophobia' as a security threat, and officers will undergo special training to work with former prisoners, as reported by Verstka.
News in ideological training
The training program for enlisted servicemen and contractors includes new ideological courses. An existing basic lecture on extremism and terrorism has been supplemented with a course on 'Russophobia'. There will also be a separate lecture on 'the involvement of Western countries in nationalism and Russophobia in Ukraine'. Significant attention will be paid to propaganda activities, including studying messages from Putin to the Federal Assembly and the 'feats of participants in the so-called special operation'.
Command issues
A special focus is on the training of officers to work with servicemen who have criminal records or are under criminal prosecution. This indicates serious challenges faced by the command in the Russian army.
Thus, changes in the military-political training system reflect the intention to adapt military training to modern realities. The introduction of new ideological courses and the training of officers to work with problematic servicemen illustrates the command's desire to respond to the new challenges faced by the army.
