Attacks on Dnipropetrovsk Region

According to Novyny.live: On March 30, Russian forces launched multiple attacks on the Dnipropetrovsk region, targeting several communities and causing fires along with infrastructure damage. According to Oleksandr Handzhi, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, more than ten strikes were recorded, involving both drones and artillery.

The Synelnykove district experienced the most severe destruction. The following communities came under fire:

  • Petropavlivka
  • Vasylkivka
  • Nikopol
  • Myrivka
  • Zelenodolsk

In the Vasylkivka community, shelling ignited a multi-story residential building, while in Kryvyi Rih, critical infrastructure was damaged.

Attack on Kramatorsk

Additionally, on March 29, Russian troops struck Kramatorsk with an aerial bomb, resulting in fatalities, including a child. The aftermath also saw fires erupting in an apartment building, garages, and vehicles. The situation in the region remains tense, with residents continuing to bear the brunt of ongoing hostilities.

The escalating situation in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast underscores the persistence of active combat operations in eastern Ukraine. Strikes on civilian infrastructure, particularly residential buildings, highlight the severity of the humanitarian crisis in the area. The increasing frequency of shelling could further endanger local civilians who are already enduring immense suffering due to the war.
