Russians have increased assault groups near Huliaipole threefold: how the defense holds.

According to ТСН: In the east of the Zaporizhzhia region, in the area of Huliaipole, Russian troops have noticeably increased the number of their assault groups. Occupiers have also strengthened motorized rifle brigades with the addition of assault regiments 'BARS'.

According to the communications officer of the 154th OMBr Artem 'Kruzaka', the invaders have now formed groups ready for assault actions. Previously, these groups consisted of two to three people, but now their numbers have grown to five or six. Each group is also equipped with electronic warfare systems and armed with rifles for destroying FPV drones.

'This is the same tactic of 'swamp zombies'. Most of them just explode before they even reach the position,' Artem 'Kruzaka' said.

He noted that only on January 5, more than seven such groups had been recorded in the area of responsibility of his unit.

Artem also explained that 'BARS' consists of volunteer units formed from experienced military personnel tasked with reconnaissance, assault, and sabotage.

Situation in Huliaipole

The officer emphasized that the terrain in the Huliaipol direction allows the RF army to advance almost unhindered. The city of Huliaipole is damaged by 30-40%, there are significant problems with electricity, gas, and water supply.

It has also been reported that the occupiers managed to enter the territory of the city. They are using the tactic of mass saturation of the city with manpower, even transferring units from other front sections.

The defense forces continue to protect Huliaipole. However, the adversary is trying to push Ukrainian troops from their positions, despite significant losses.

The situation in Huliaipole remains critical. Ukrainian defenders continue to fight against numerous enemy attacks, while the need for humanitarian assistance for local residents is becoming increasingly urgent. The city is suffering from destruction, and any support is now crucial for the survival of the population.
