Enemy Operations on the Pokrovsk Axis

According to Espreso.tv: Danylo Borysenko, chief of staff for an anti-aircraft missile and artillery battalion within the National Guard of Ukraine's 'Rubizh' brigade, has detailed recent enemy activities on the Pokrovsk front. He noted that Russian forces are now relying on small assault teams to seize specific frontline sectors or settlements within set deadlines. Despite this, mechanized assaults remain rare in this area.

Currently, Russian troops continue their push near Kostiantynivka in Donetsk Oblast. The situation there remains under control, with no immediate threat of encirclement. 'On the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy continues to exert significant pressure on Ukrainian positions,' Borysenko stated.

“The enemy has its own logic, its own commanders who drive forward those tasked with storming positions.”

He further emphasized that the adversary’s primary tactic involves 'pushing forward small—I would even say microscopic—assault groups.' These actions indicate that Russian forces are adapting their combat methods to the realities of the modern battlefield while maintaining relentless pressure on Ukrainian defenses.

Frontline Situation

The overall situation on the front remains tense, particularly along the Pokrovsk axis, where Russian forces are attempting to execute their strategy through small assault units. This adaptation highlights the evolving nature of the conflict and underscores the need for Ukraine to develop new countermeasures against such attacks.

Maintaining control over Kostiantynivka is critical for regional stability, and Ukrainian forces continue to fight to hold their ground.
