According to FREEДOM: Today, August 24, on the festive Independence Day of Ukraine, Russian occupiers struck the city of Konstantinovka in the Donetsk region again. In addition, massive strikes affected the Sumy region. According to preliminary data, there are no casualties or injuries among the civilian population. Throughout the day, FAB-250 aerial bombs hit the heart of the community in the city of Konstantinovka. As a result of the shelling, the facades of administrative buildings, cultural institutions, several multi-storey residential buildings, and garages were damaged.

'The blow to the art school, where a humanitarian aid point was located, causes special pain. Here, people found refuge - charged their phones, received humanitarian aid, and took purified water for their families. Now this place of assistance and support is also damaged,' reported the head of the city military administration (OMA) Serhiy Horbunov.

The Sumy community was affected by a massive attack of strike drones.

'The enemy delivered, presumably, 10 strikes on the territory of the community. Fortunately, there are no casualties. All hits were in the Kovalivskyi district of Sumy, outside the residential sector. Currently, the aftermath is being addressed and damage is being assessed,' said the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration (OVA) Oleg Hryhorov.

Recall that on August 23, the RF army attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region with drones, artillery, and KABs. According to the regional military administration, as a result of the shelling, one person was killed, and nine were injured.
