The fiercest battles are taking place for Kamianske and Plavni in the Orikhiv direction, where the Russians have unsuccessfully tried to push back Ukrainian defenders for several months. In the Kherson direction, the enemy constantly attacks positions near the Antonivskiy bridges, suffering significant losses. There are active attempts by Russian paratroopers to establish a foothold in the island zone of the Dnipro, but these operations often end in failures for the occupiers.

The colonel also shared an interesting case involving two captured Russians, who were recently taken by Ukrainian forces. It turned out that their goal was not combat operations but to conduct a photoshoot. 'They were instructed to reach a certain point just to be photographed by drones. A drone dropped their flag and uniform on them to be photographed. The Russians have no real successes on the islands, but they are trying to create the illusion of victories before various 'osint' analysts and their superiors,' he explained.

Such actions indicate desperate attempts by the Russian command to create the impression of successes where they actually do not exist.
