Russian Forces Strike Dnipropetrovsk Region

According to Novyny.live: On March 2, Russian occupying forces launched an attack on the Dnipropetrovsk region, resulting in the death of a 55-year-old man. The assaults targeted three districts of the region, employing drones, artillery, 'Grad' multiple rocket launchers, and aerial bombs. These attacks are part of a broader pattern of strikes on Ukrainian regions near the front lines.

In the Synelnykove district, the shelling destroyed two private houses, with four others sustaining significant damage. A five-story apartment building was also damaged in the Nikopol district. Furthermore, on the Kryvyi Rih front, the town of Apostolove came under fire alongside the city itself, damaging a transport company, as noted by Oleksandr Ganzha.

Simultaneously, over the course of the day, the invaders launched more than 800 strikes on the Zaporizhzhia region, injuring four people. In particular, the town of Komyshuvakha in Zaporizhzhia region was attacked with guided aerial bombs, resulting in two children being wounded. The situation in the region remains difficult, with residents continuing to suffer the consequences of the ongoing war.

Humanitarian Situation

This bombardment is part of the continuing military actions in Ukraine and indicates an escalation of the conflict in regions bordering the combat zone. Strikes on civilian objects, including residential buildings and infrastructure, underscore the severity of the humanitarian situation faced by residents of the affected territories. The targeting of civilian areas has drawn widespread international condemnation.

Given the increased intensity of the attacks, supporting the local population and ensuring their safety is of critical importance.
