Doctor Killed, Nurse Wounded in Russian Strike on Kherson Hospital.
Tragedy Strikes Kherson Medical Facility
According to UATV: A 63-year-old physician lost his life and a nurse was injured on July 2 when Russian forces attacked a hospital in Kherson. The devastating event reverberated beyond the medical staff, affecting everyone who witnessed the horrific scene.
Hospital Infrastructure Heavily Damaged
The shelling caused extensive damage to one of the hospital's buildings. Dozens of windows and doors were blown out, while the roof, facade, patient wards, and doctors' offices were all impacted. Firefighters managed to extinguish the blaze that broke out following the assault.
Sadly, this cynical attack cut short the life of a 63-year-old doctor who was helping others until the very end. My sincere condolences to his family and loved ones. Eternal memory.

This strike on a healthcare facility underscores the ongoing toll the conflict is taking on civilians and infrastructure in Ukraine. Hospitals, as critical components of the healthcare system, are being targeted in wartime, leading to severe consequences for patients, medical personnel, and their families.
The tragedy in Kherson serves as a stark reminder of the urgent need to protect medical institutions in conflict zones and uphold international humanitarian law.
