Report on the course of the war in Ukraine

The Institute for the Study of War has published a new report on the events taking place in Ukraine. According to the document dated November 20, the report contains an overview of hostilities and detailed maps of various sections of the front.

According to geolocation footage, Russian troops have made advances in the Kursk region to the northeast of Nizhny Klyn and to the southeast of Korenevo.

Ukrainian troops, for their part, have advanced north of Kharkiv, in the wooded area southeast of Hlyboke. Russian troops continue offensive actions near Lyptsy, Hlyboke, and in the Vovchansk area.

Regarding other sections of the front, Russian troops continue to advance along the Kup'yansk - Svatove - Kreminna line, but have not yet confirmed their advance. They are also storming the Bilohorivka area to the northeast of Siversk, but without success.

Sources from Russia reported that Russian troops launched an offensive north of Kurakhove, but this information has not yet been confirmed. There have also been no confirmed offensives in the Vuhledar direction.

Additionally, Russian troops have started conducting active operations in the area between Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions and have advanced towards Rivnopillia. However, in other parts of Zaporizhzhia, the situation remains unchanged.

On the left bank of the Kherson region and on the islands of the Dnipro delta, positional battles continue from November 18 to 19, but the front line remains unchanged.

In the past day, the enemy carried out 51 airstrikes, including 78 KABs, and 600 kamikaze drone strikes. Additionally, there were about 3.5 thousand shellings of Ukrainian positions.

According to the publication Bild, Russian troops carried out an offensive in the central part of the city of Chasiv Yar in Donetsk region, where battles have been ongoing for over six months.
