Russia struck the DTEK enrichment plant in the Donetsk region

According to inkorr.com: Russia has again struck the DTEK enrichment plant in the Donetsk region. The attack was accompanied by significant destruction and serious damage to equipment. This information was confirmed by 'Glavkom', citing data from DTEK.

Fortunately, all employees who were in the building during the attack survived, and rescuers were able to extinguish the fire.

The country is preparing for the fourth heating season amid war

This plant has been attacked before, as it supplies coal for thermal generation in Ukraine. The enterprise has now suspended operations due to destruction and the halting of enrichment capacities.

Despite the hostilities in the east, Ukraine is actively preparing for the new heating season.

Russia conducts mass terrorist attacks on Ukraine's civilian infrastructure

On the night of August 26-27, Russia again attacked Ukraine's civilian infrastructure. The enemy struck drone attacks on energy and gas transportation facilities in six regions of the country.

As a result of the attack, one of the key substations in Sumy was damaged, causing power outages in parts of the city and at industrial enterprises. In the Poltava region, the aggressor deliberately struck the gas transportation infrastructure, causing serious damage.

It is worth noting that the war has been ongoing for more than 1200 days, and even in these conditions, Ukraine continues its preparation for the new heating season.

After the massive attack by Russia on the DTEK enrichment plant and civilian infrastructure, the situation is becoming increasingly alarming. In the conflict zone, there is an intensification of hostilities, which may threaten the country's energy security and preparedness for the heating season. Ukraine urgently needs to respond to threats from Russia and ensure the protection of key infrastructure facilities.
