The project 'Bridges of Ukraine' revealed that Russian propaganda spreads even through food establishments. In Paris, Russian-themed restaurants have appeared, where people from Donbas, who look like Ukrainians, discuss the war in the East as a quarrel between Putin and Zelensky. These establishments are likely funded from Russia and serve as venues for Russian events, attracting French guests.
In response to this situation, France has expanded the rights for Ukrainian refugees under temporary protection. However, the country's government has tightened the requirements for foreigners, including Ukrainians, to obtain French citizenship, imposing stricter language proficiency and integration demands. The emergence of Russian restaurants in Paris, which may be used for spreading propaganda, has triggered a response from the French government. France has responded by expanding rights for Ukrainian refugees while simultaneously tightening citizenship requirements for other foreign populations.
