Russia Terrorizes Dnipro with Repeated Strikes
According to Novyny.live: On June 2, Russian forces launched an attack on the city of Dnipro, killing 16 people and injuring 42 others, including four children. Among the wounded, three children and 21 adults are currently receiving medical treatment in hospitals. The assault has left the community in shock, as rescue workers have completed search and recovery operations in the residential area that was hit.
Authorities are now focused on clearing debris and mitigating the aftermath of this tragic event. Oleksandr Ganzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, provided an update on the situation in the city. These strikes are part of a broader pattern of escalating Russian aggression across Ukraine, which continues to inflict heavy civilian casualties.
Support Program for Dnipro Residents
A municipal support program has been launched to help Dnipro residents secure temporary housing. Compensation is available as follows:
- 9,000 hryvnias for a one-bedroom apartment,
- 15,000 hryvnias for a three-bedroom apartment.
These measures are designed to assist those affected by the shelling, providing financial relief to rebuild their living spaces. The ongoing war in Ukraine has created severe humanitarian challenges, and such initiatives aim to help displaced civilians regain stability amid the violence.
