Former spokesman of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces Ilya Yevlash mentioned that he himself saw how a 'Shahed' flew for more than 24 hours over Ukraine, especially over protected areas. The Armed Forces of Ukraine long hunted this drone, but eventually managed to shoot it down. It can fly for up to 24 hours, Yevlash noted.
He also pointed out that 'Shaheds' can differ from each other, for example, some have larger fuel tanks, while others have fewer munitions.
In general, the Air Forces explained that the location loss of the drone could be caused by various reasons such as malfunction or disruption of electronic warfare, as well as running out of fuel.
