In Zaporizhzhia, a strike on a minibus claimed three lives, leaving six injured, including a child. Rescue operations are ongoing as emergency services work to assist the victims.

In Nikopol, Russian troops carried out a second strike targeting first responders who were attempting to provide aid. Additional attacks hit energy infrastructure in the Sumy, Odesa, Chernihiv, Kherson, and Kharkiv regions. These developments underscore the relentless nature of the assaults on civilian areas and critical facilities.

Ukrainian President’s Response

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy addressed the events, offering condolences to the families of the deceased.

“Unfortunately, as of now, we know that five people have died. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Twenty-nine people were wounded in this strike,” he stated.

Zelenskyy also stressed the need to counter Russian terror, saying:

“It is crucial to resist this Russian terror. There must be greater protection for people from such horrific attacks.”

These incidents highlight the ongoing escalation of the conflict and its severe toll on Ukraine’s civilian population. Emergency teams remain on site at the attack locations to provide essential aid. The international community’s response to these strikes is also critical, as they underscore the urgent need to bolster Ukraine’s defense capabilities and maintain allied support in countering aggression.
