According to ТСН: President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed his thoughts on the results of negotiations with the American side, which took place in Berlin over the past two days.

During the business forum in Germany, he noted:

“We always have such conversations, they are not easy, I will honestly tell you, but the conversation was productive. A lot, very many details.”

In addition, Zelensky thanked German Chancellor Friedrich Merz for the opportunity to hold these negotiations. He emphasized that

“The attention to this is undoubtedly very serious. We are going step by step, we are identifying the steps needed to ensure that peace is worthy. Everything is important for us. Unity for Ukrainians. That is why such an important word, which we often focus on. Unity is what stopped Russia. People are like that in Ukraine. We continue our diplomacy aimed at ending the war. We need to meet, work to create decent conditions for the end of the war.”

He also addressed Europe, stressing the importance of remembering that it was Russia that provoked the war in Ukraine.

It was previously reported that the meeting between Witkoff and Zelensky was productive. Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Umierov added that there had been “real progress” in the talks over the past two days.

Meetings in Berlin demonstrate Ukraine's active desire to continue dialogue with partners to achieve peace. President Zelensky emphasizes unity as a key factor in overcoming the challenges the country faces. These negotiations play an important role in strengthening international support for Ukraine and its positions in the conflict with Russia.
