In Kyiv, traffic will be restricted from November 7: which routes will change

According to inkorr.com: In Kyiv, starting from November 7, work will begin that will lead to restrictions on public transport movement in several areas. Municipal services will be active in the Holosiivskyi and Dniprovskyi districts. This was reported by the Kyiv City State Administration, citing 'Kyivavtodor'.In particular, from 1:00 PM on November 7 to 6:00 AM on November 12, traffic will be partially restricted on the Kyiv highway — at the overpass near the avenue of Science. Traffic towards the 'Vydubychi' metro station will proceed only in one lane, as repair work will be conducted there.

Changes in transport movement on the Left Bank

Also, from 10:00 AM on November 7, in the Dniprovskyi district, bus and marshrutka routes that run through Budivelnykiv Street will be temporarily changed. This is due to asphalt repairs at the intersection with Hetman Pavlo Polubotka Street.

Public transport movement

will be organized according to a modified scheme
:
  • Buses No. 45 and No. 55: from Petrov Hryhorenko Avenue and 'Palace of Sports' metro station to Budivelnykiv Street — then through Krakovska Street, Serhii Nabok, Winston Churchill — and back to their route;

  • Marshrutkas No. 511 and No. 545: from 'Pozniaky' metro station and Yelyzaveta Chavdar Street to Budivelnykiv Street — then by the same detour as for buses.

Residents of the city are asked to plan their trips in advance and take into account the changes in the transport schedule.

Other restrictions in the capital

Partial

roadblocks will also continue at other sections
of Kyiv:
  • until August 2026 — repair of the overpass at the intersection of Mykola Bazhan Avenue and Dnipro quay, near 'Osokorky' metro station;

  • until December 20, 2025 — partial traffic restrictions on Roman Shukhevych Avenue at the intersection of Kybalychchya and Mykola Zakrevskyi Streets. Repair work for the restoration of the overpass structures is ongoing here, so restrictions will apply to pedestrians as well.

Repair works in Kyiv are part of a plan to update infrastructure. The city is trying to improve the road surface and traffic safety, which will undoubtedly require some time and patience from residents. It is important to closely monitor announcements regarding schedule changes to avoid inconveniences during trips.
