Romania to Provide NATO Bases for Ukraine's Security: Details of the Decision.
According to FREEДOM: Romania is open to cooperation with NATO and is ready to provide its military bases for peace guarantees in Ukraine. This was stated by Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan in his interview with the Agerpres agency, as reported by FREEdom.
He emphasized that Romania does not plan to send its troops to the territory of Ukraine but is ready to use its bases for the needs of allies, including the USA.
According to the Prime Minister, air patrols are already being conducted from Romanian airfields, and joint exercises with NATO are taking place there.
The Romanian Ministry of Defense added that Bucharest will participate in all decisions of allies regarding security guarantees for Ukraine, and the country's aviation infrastructure is an important element of NATO's eastern flank.
Romania confirms its readiness to cooperate with NATO and provide its military bases to prevent potential threats to Ukraine's security. The country does not plan to send its troops to Ukrainian territory but is ready to work together with allies to ensure stability in the region.
