Crimean Platform Summit at the UN: what decisions are made about the occupied peninsula.
According to inkorr.com: The UN headquarters in New York is preparing for the fifth summit of the International Crimea Platform, which will take place on September 24. This was announced by Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha.
'The summit, which will take place on the 80th anniversary of the UN, will reaffirm the global commitment to the goals and principles of the UN Charter: sovereignty, territorial integrity of states, and peace,' said the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The Minister clarified that since 2014, the UN General Assembly has adopted more than twenty resolutions confirming that Crimea is part of Ukraine.
'We invite all peace-loving UN member states to join the summit, support the Charter, and assist in promoting a just and lasting peace in Ukraine in accordance with the principles of the UN Charter,' added Sybiha.

At the summit at the UN headquarters, issues of supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine will be discussed, as well as engaging the international community in reconciliation efforts in the region. The Minister called on all UN member countries to participate in this important event and support peace in Ukrainian territories.
This summit emphasizes the joint efforts of states to uphold international law and the territorial integrity of Ukraine. Within the framework of the event, the international community will be able to discuss concrete steps to ensure peace and stability in the region, as well as support the Ukrainian position on the international stage.
