Among the models that have lost support is the Galaxy S21 series, launched in January 2021. These phones received four generations of Android upgrades and five years of security patches. Their last major update was Android 15 based on One UI 7, and the final security patch was released in January 2026.
As for the Galaxy Note 20 series, these devices debuted in August 2020 with Android 10. The last security update for the Galaxy Note 20 came out in August 2025, signaling the end of its support cycle. Additionally, older models from the A, F, and M series, such as:
- Galaxy A03
- Galaxy A22
- Galaxy A52
- Galaxy F22
- Galaxy F42
- Galaxy M32
- Galaxy M42
are no longer included in the update program.
The Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3, both released in 2021, received their final major update with Android 15 and One UI 7, similar to the Galaxy S21 FE, which launched in January 2022. In contrast, budget models like the Galaxy A13, A23, and M13 remain on a quarterly update schedule.
