According to ТСН: Europe is losing a unique opportunity to protect itself from Russian aggression in the coming years. Supplying Ukraine with long-range missiles, such as Taurus or a sufficient number of Storm Shadows, could significantly change the security situation not only on the front but throughout Europe.

This opinion was expressed by aviation expert Valery Romanenko during the broadcast of Kyiv24. He pointed out that if partners provided Ukraine with the necessary amount of long-range weapons, the Armed Forces of Ukraine could destroy the Russian military-industrial complex. This would force Moscow to restart production from scratch, giving Europe time to prepare.

The Ideal Scenario for Europe

Romanenko emphasized that the West has not yet fully realized this opportunity that is opening up thanks to the efforts of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

"For Europe, it would be an ideal situation if they gave us long-range weapons, and we simply destroyed the Russian military industry. Europe would gain serious time to prepare for a possible Russian invasion, for example, through the Baltics or from other directions, including through Belarus," Romanenko noted.

However, the analyst noted that Europeans do not yet perceive this as a real chance.

Forcing the RF to Start from Scratch

Romanenko also stressed that if Ukraine received Tomahawk missiles or massive deliveries of German Taurus, it would allow disabling key Russian enterprises that fall within the range. This would lead to the collapse of the enemy's supply chains.

"Then the Russians would have to start from scratch: building technological processes based on Chinese supplies, Chinese components. In fact, creating modifications of new samples with significant time... (delays - ed.)," the expert explained.

This scenario would force the Kremlin to spend years restoring military potential instead of preparing for new aggressions.

It should also be noted that discussions included the topic of continuing ammunition supplies under the so-called 'Czech initiative,' which has already provided Ukraine with 1.8 million ammunition. This underscores the constant support from international partners and their readiness to provide the necessary resources.
