SBU launches a special chatbot 'Burn FSB Agent'

The Security Service of Ukraine has launched a special chatbot named 'Burn FSB Agent' aimed at collecting information about attempts to recruit by Russian special services. This was reported by the press service of the SBU.

The chatbot was created in Telegram, as law enforcement indicates that this network is often used by the enemy to recruit citizens of Ukraine, especially young people and minors, for the purpose of committing arson of military vehicles, shopping mall buildings, placing mines, various sabotage activities, and terrorist acts.

'We guarantee confidentiality in providing information. Each message will be carefully processed by our staff,' the message states.

The SBU reminds that arson of military vehicles, shopping mall buildings, and other structures, as well as the placement of explosive devices, are crimes punishable even for minors. Committing sabotage (Article 113 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) and terrorism (Article 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) falls under criminal liability and can lead to up to 10 years of imprisonment. This norm applies to citizens aged 14 and older.

'Carrying out orders from Russian special services means working for the enemy, who is trying to destroy Ukraine. Such actions guarantee not money but a real prison term,' law enforcement adds.

Previously, the police recorded over 200 cases of arson of military vehicles, of which about a quarter were committed by minors.

It should be recalled that earlier the Security Service and the National Police detained two local residents aged 15 and 18 in Ivano-Frankivsk, who committed a series of arsons of Armed Forces of Ukraine vehicles.

By the way, since the beginning of 2024, 18 criminal offenses related to the arson of Armed Forces of Ukraine vehicles, relay cabinets on railway tracks, and the placement of explosive devices with striking elements have been recorded in the Kyiv region. This is twice as much compared to the previous year.
