The strikes were aimed at the concentrations of equipment and personnel of the Russian military that ensured the logistics and coordination of the occupation forces. According to the SBU, FP-2 drones equipped with 105 kg combat payloads significantly increased the effectiveness of the operation.
Characteristics of the FP-2 Drone
FP-2 is a product of the Ukrainian company Fire Point, which also manufactures the 'Flamingo' missile. This drone can fly a distance of up to 200 km, which is less compared to FP-1, which has a range of 1400 km. However, FP-2 provides greater combat power.
Earlier, Ukrainian drones carried out attacks on five substations in Russia, with a total attack power reaching 5066 megavolt-amperes.
Also, on the night of November 2, Ukrainian drones damaged a tanker and an oil loading terminal in the port of Tuapse.
The Security Service of Ukraine carried out successful operations using FP-2 drones to strike Russian warehouses and bases, causing damage to the logistics and distribution infrastructure of the occupation forces. These actions indicate the intensification of Ukrainian efforts to counter Russian aggression and confirm the presence of innovative technologies in combat operations.
