The SBU attacked the 'Kirovske' airfield in occupied Crimea using drones. The strikes targeted helicopters and the 'Pantsir-S1' complex. This operation lasted for two years with the aim of limiting Russia's capabilities for aerial strikes against Ukraine.
Representatives of the SBU emphasized that military equipment and ammunition of the occupiers are unprotected anywhere, even in occupied territories. The attack on the airfield was aimed at destroying Russian missile systems to protect Ukraine.
'The occupiers must understand that their military equipment and ammunition are unprotected anywhere: neither on the line of contact, nor in temporarily occupied territories, nor behind enemy lines,' - said SBU representatives.
Thus, the SBU carried out an attack on the airfield in Crimea with the aim of destroying the military equipment and ammunition of the occupiers to protect Ukraine from possible threats from Russia.
