Wizz Air plans to resume air connections with Ukraine after the end of the war with Russia

The airline Wizz Air plans to resume air connections with Ukraine after the end of the war with Russia. The company's CEO, Jozsef Varadi, stated that about 30 routes are planned to be restored within six weeks after the airspace is reopened. According to him, the company is already preparing for this process. It is also known that within the first six months after hostilities, Wizz Air plans to restore its operations in Kyiv and Lviv.

Ryanair also plans to resume flights to Ukraine

Such plans are also held by the airline Ryanair, which hopes for the end of the war between Russia and Ukraine. A senior partner at Marsh McLennan believes that flights from one of the Ukrainian airports - 'Lviv' or 'Boryspil' - will be resumed by the end of 2025. President Zelensky insists on opening the 'Boryspil' international airport first. However, Minister Oleksiy Kubela states that Ukraine needs more air defense systems to restore air connections.
