Another category of Ukrainians may be added to the reservation list.
Ukraine has asked to include horticulture and vegetable gardening workers in the reservation list from mobilization.
Director of the Department of Agricultural Development of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Ihor Vishtak reported this with reference to agroportal.
To retain the staff of strategically important enterprises, we decided to allow the reservation of employees in certain sectors, particularly in horticulture, vegetable gardening, and potato growing, - emphasized Vishtak.
The horticulture and vegetable gardening sectors are of great importance to Ukraine's economy. Previously, the south of the country provided about 70% of the vegetables grown. Now part of this business has been destroyed, leading to an increase in prices on the domestic market.
Therefore, Vishtak asks the military administrations of the regions to review the criteria for reserving workers in the horticulture and vegetable gardening sectors.
We remind you that from August 1, some Ukrainians will lose their right to deferment from mobilization.
