The recent rise in average wages suggests a slowly improving economic climate, which could boost consumer spending power. However, the stark regional disparities in pay remain a major obstacle to balanced economic development. The planned salary adjustment for social workers underscores the ongoing effort to support this critical field, which may help address some labor market imbalances.
