Ukrainian writer and public figure Serhiy Zhadan, who mobilized in May 2024, told about his position in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to him, he is currently working as a staff sergeant of the second category of military journalism service in the section of civil-military cooperation.

«Besides, it's been four and a half months since I mobilized. Two months of training, two months of service in the support forces battalion, in the platoon of my old friend Misha Ozerov - we were setting up brigade positions, getting a lot of bumps on the field roads around Lypyntsi» - said the poet.

«For the past two weeks, I've been serving as a staff sergeant of the second category of military journalism service in the section of civil-military cooperation. There is a lot of work, but the work is interesting and useful for the brigade - internal and external communications, working with personnel, our wonderful Radio Khartia, which is rapidly gaining momentum, supporting medical and patronage services, fundraising and much more».
