Ukraine’s Defense Forces Repel 154 Attacks in a Single Day; Russian Army Loses 860 Soldiers.

According to Novyny.live: Russian forces continue their offensive operations, but Ukraine’s defense units are successfully holding the line and inflicting heavy casualties on the enemy. Over the past 24 hours, 154 combat engagements took place, highlighting the intensity of fighting across multiple sectors of the front.
According to military sources, the Russian army carried out 78 airstrikes, dropping 292 guided aerial bombs. Additionally, the enemy deployed 9,112 kamikaze drones and conducted 4,231 artillery bombardments. These figures underscore the ferocity of the ongoing clashes. Despite the aggressor’s relentless push, Ukrainian defenders remain resilient and continue to mount stiff resistance.
As a result of the day’s fighting, Russian command reported 860 military casualties. The following equipment was destroyed or rendered inoperable:
- 7 tanks
- 5 armored fighting vehicles
- 50 artillery systems
- 4 multiple launch rocket systems
- 2 air defense systems
- 2,071 unmanned aerial vehicles
- 189 units of automotive equipment
These losses are significant and could hamper the Russian military’s operational capabilities in the near future.

Heavy fighting is concentrated in the following areas: North-Slobozhanskyi, Kursk, South-Slobozhanskyi, Kupiansk, Lyman, Sloviansk, Kostiantynivka, Pokrovsk, Oleksandrivka, Huliaipole, Orikhiv, Dnipro, Volyn, and Polissia. These regions remain strategically vital for both sides in the prolonged conflict.
