Ukrainian Special Forces Strike Critical Enemy Targets, Destroying Radar and Supply Depots.
Ukrainian Special Operations Forces Conduct Strikes
According to UATV: Ukrainian Special Operations Forces have successfully targeted and destroyed key enemy installations in Crimea, Donbas, and the Zaporizhzhia region, including vital radar systems and ammunition depots. A notable strike on March 11, 2023, neutralized the radar components of Russian S-300 missile systems in Sevastopol and Donbas, demonstrating the precision and effectiveness of these Ukrainian operations. These strikes are part of a broader effort to degrade Russia's military capabilities in occupied territories.
Specific Targets Destroyed
Among the destroyed targets were a missile and artillery weapons depot in Shyroka Balka, Donetsk region, and a 64N6E radar station in Sevastopol, a critical asset for enemy airspace control. Additional strikes eliminated a drone warehouse in Novozlatopil and a logistics storage facility in Mar'yanivka, Zaporizhzhia region.
According to Ukraine's Defense Forces, over the past day, these and other operations have resulted in significant Russian losses, with 990 personnel eliminated and 281 units of enemy equipment destroyed, including:
- 61 artillery systems;
- 5 tanks;
- 3 armored combat vehicles.
These figures underscore the heavy toll exacted on the invading forces.
The successful targeting of key military infrastructure, such as radar stations and weapons depots, is designed to erode the defensive capabilities of Russian forces and create new operational opportunities for Ukraine. The intensity and persistence of these special operations could prove decisive in shaping the future course of the conflict, as Ukraine continues its campaign to reclaim its sovereign territory.
