Ukrainian special operations forces destroyed S-300 radar station in Crimea: operation details.
According to inkorr.com: The special units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces successfully eliminated a radar station in the annexed Crimea. The operation took place during the night of August 30, 2025. As a result of the actions taken, the radar system of the S-300 complex located at the military airfield in Saky was destroyed. Ukrainian 'Flamingo' missiles also hit other targets in Crimea, including a base of Russian border guards subordinate to the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation.
“On the night of August 29 to 30, 2025, units of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out a series of special actions in the temporarily occupied Crimea. As a result of the conducted actions, the radar station of the S-300 complex at the military airfield in the settlement of Saky was destroyed,” the Armed Forces reported.
It is also worth noting that on August 28, the troops of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine struck a radar complex 91N6E S-400 'Triumph' located in the occupied territory of Crimea, using a drone.
The special operations forces continue operations against enemy radar stations in Crimea, striking targets in the occupied territory. This emphasizes Ukraine's active defense in the east and the intentions to effectively prevent potential threats from the aggressor.
