The forecaster warned about a 'significant drop in temperature' in some regions of Ukraine.

According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, the weather in Ukraine will be influenced by low atmospheric pressure in the coming days, bringing various precipitation and lowering temperatures. It is forecasted that on March 11-12, rains are expected in the west and Carpathians, while on March 12-13, precipitation will spread to the north and most central regions. However, the temperature will remain pleasant, as humid warm air is coming to our country from the south and southwest.

During the night of March 11, the temperature will be +1...+6 degrees, while on March 12-13, the nighttime temperature will be between +4...+9 degrees. During the day, the air will warm up to +13...+19 degrees, and even up to +22 in the south. Only on the seaside it will be a bit cooler – +7...+12 degrees.

During the passage of atmospheric fronts, the wind will intensify to 7-12 m/s, and in the Carpathians, gusts of 15-20 m/s are possible. From March 14, precipitation is expected, initially in the west and north, then partially affecting the center of the country, and on March 15, light rains are expected in the northeast. The southeast will remain dry.

Gradually, the air temperature will decrease. In the northern and western parts of the country, on March 15, the nighttime temperature will be +1...+7 degrees, and during the day, it will not exceed +10 degrees. In the other territories, it will be warmer: at night +4...+10 degrees, during the day +12...+18.

Although the current weather may seem abnormal, significant cooling is not expected in the near term. The temperature of +4...+10 degrees in the western and northern regions by the end of the week is a drop compared to the current temperature of +19...+20 degrees. It has been noted that this temperature is typical for March, while the current weather is considered too warm.

Today's weather is indeed abnormal, as the air temperature is on average 4-9 degrees above normal almost throughout the country. In Kyiv and its region, no precipitation is expected in the coming day, and the temperature will be +4...+6 degrees at night and +17...+19 degrees during the day. On March 12, rain is forecasted, light at night and moderate during the day. On March 13, rain is expected again.

At night, the air temperature will range from +5...+9 degrees, while the daytime temperature on March 11-12 will remain at +17...+19 degrees. From March 13, the temperature will drop to +13...+15 degrees. On March 15 in Kyiv, it will be colder, with nighttime temperatures of +5...+7 degrees and daytime temperatures of +8...+10 degrees.
