Meteorologists warned residents of Kyiv region about dangerous weather on May 1.

True warmth enthusiasts will be pleased with this news - meteorologists reported what weather awaits the residents of Kyiv and the Kyiv region on the first day of May.

According to the press service of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, on May 1, cloudy weather with sunny spells is expected in these regions. There will be no precipitation at night, but during the day, there may be small brief rain showers. The wind at night will be variable, with a speed of 3-8 m/s, and during the day, it will shift to a northwestern direction and increase to 7-12 m/s with gusts up to 15-20 m/s.

The temperature at night in Kyiv and the region will range from 5 to 10 degrees Celsius, and during the day it will rise to 15-20 degrees above zero. In the city itself, the night temperature will fluctuate from 8 to 10 degrees Celsius, while the daytime temperature will reach 16-18 degrees.

Meteorologists also warn of dangerous meteorological phenomena of the first level of danger (yellow) due to strong wind gusts of 15-20 m/s expected during the day on May 1 in Kyiv and the Kyiv region.
