Syrskyi Warns Belarus Over Signal Relays: Ukrainian Forces Ready for Offensive in Chernihiv Region.
Belarus Relay Station Situation
According to Novyny.live: Ukraine’s Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi has raised alarms about signal relay stations located in Belarus and confirmed that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are prepared to respond in that direction. He noted that these relays have not yet been dismantled, and one was activated on June 29. Syrskyi stressed the gravity of the matter, stating:
“Belarus must understand that operating these relays is not in their interest” — Oleksandr Syrskyi
Ukrainian Progress and Readiness for New Challenges
Ukraine’s defense forces continue to make strides, having liberated over 670 square kilometers of territory. In May alone, Ukrainian troops reclaimed 100 square kilometers more than they lost, marking steady progress toward restoring the country’s territorial integrity.
Syrskyi also assured that the Ukrainian military is fully prepared for a potential new Russian offensive, particularly in the Chernihiv region. He emphasized:
“We have everything we need to remain unafraid of actions from this direction and to prevent enemy drone flights along the border” — Oleksandr Syrskyi
These remarks underscore the resolve of Ukrainian forces to counter threats from neighboring countries.
Syrskyi’s statements highlight the Ukrainian military’s heightened focus on risks from Belarus, which could use relay stations to aid Russian operations. The gradual liberation of occupied areas demonstrates the effectiveness of Ukrainian forces in regaining control. Their readiness for new challenges reflects strategic planning and preparation for possible offensives, which could significantly shape the conflict’s trajectory in the region.
