Syisky on the Russian offensive on Kharkiv in 2024
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky spoke about the readiness for a possible Russian offensive in the Kharkiv region in 2024. The defense forces managed to uncover the plans of the potential enemy in advance.
This information was stated by the general of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in an interview with TSN.
According to the commander, the Ukrainian Armed Forces conducted reconnaissance in advance, which allowed them to identify the plans of the occupiers regarding the offensive in Kharkiv last year. These plans were uncovered thanks to reconnaissance and intercepted radio frequencies.
Oleksandr Syrsky explained that the Russian military violated 'information hygiene.'
'They practically did not adhere to the measures of secrecy. Especially among ordinary servicemen. They called, used regular phones. They told each other that they were being taken to areas, that there would be some rest for two weeks, and after that they were going to Belgorod to prepare for the offensive on Kharkiv. So we knew that such actions would take place,' the general said.
It is also worth noting that earlier Oleksandr Syrsky commented on the participation of North Korean soldiers in the war against Ukraine in the Kursk region. The chief commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces also explained how the military of the Russian Federation managed to penetrate behind the front line in Kursk.
General Syrsky spoke in an interview about the preparation of the Armed Forces for a possible Russian offensive in Kharkiv in 2024. By using reconnaissance and intercepting radio frequencies, the Ukrainian military managed to obtain information about the enemy's plans in advance.
